IntelaCare Selected by Walter Reed Diabetes Center

12 October 2010, Arlington, VirginiaAffinity Networks, Inc. (ANI) announced today that it was awarded a contract from the U.S. Army Medical Command to provide a health information delivery system that is needed to support patients at Walter Reed Medical Center suffering the effects of diabetes.  Affinity will provide software development, content design and system integration services to implement their product, IntelaCare, into the Medical Center’s technology infrastructure.  IntelaCare delivers telephone based, culturally relevant healthcare applications and content to support pharmaceutical compliance and healthy lifestyles, leading to improved healthcare access, affordability, quality, and outcomes for its users.  In this project IntelaCare is providing life savings information and medicine reminders to diabetes patients.

According to the ANI’s President, Mr. Arthur R. Henderson,  “the ANI team is applying IntelaCare to facilitate disease management and medication adherence content specifically designed to support warfighters suffering with diabetes at one of the nation’s premier medical facilities, Walter Reed.”
