Affinity Networks Inc. awarded 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

June 20th 2017, Arlington, Virginia – Affinity Networks, Inc. is proud to announce we have been awarded the 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT services-based solutions for the federal government. The 8(a) STARS II program is reserved exclusively for qualifying certified 8(a) small business concerns and has a five-year base with one five-year option. In addition, it has a $10 billion program ceiling and facilitates directed task orders up to $4 million each.

8(a) STARS is a faster alternative to time-consuming and costly full and open competitions, and are for information technology and IT-related services along acquisition of hardware, software and related supplies as part of an integrated solution. Affinity Networks has been selected under Functional Area (FA) 1 – Custom Computer Programming Services. Affinity was selected based on cost and non-cost factors including the Contract Administration Plan (CAP), Marketing Action Plan (MAP), Past Performance, Price and Responsibility.
